Application
Flexible cable with copper conductors, with insulation and sheath not spreading combustion.
The cable is designed to connect mobile machines, mechanisms and equipment to electric networks and to mobile sources of electric energy for a rated alternating voltage of 660 V of frequency up to 400 Hz or a constant rated voltage of 1000 V. The
cable is oil and petrol resistant and also resistant to solar radiation.
The cable is resistant to flame propagation in single installation conditions according to DSTU EN 60332-1-2.
Cables of the KGNVng and KGNVng-LS brands are resistant to flame propagation when laid in bundles according to DSTU EN 60332-3-22.
The electrical resistance of the conductive cable core to DC corresponds to:
a) upon acceptance and delivery - DSTU EN 60228; b) for the period of operation and storage - not more than 120% of the standard value during acceptance and delivery.
The electrical insulation resistance of the cable, calculated per 1 km of length and a temperature of 20 0 C, not less than:
a) upon receipt and delivery - 7 MΩ;
b) for the period of operation and storage - 0.005 MΩ.
Insulated conductors and cable sheaths withstand AC voltage testing of cables according to EI-2 category in accordance with GOST 23286. The
cable withstands 50 Hz alternating voltage testing for 5 minutes:
a) upon receipt and delivery - 2500 V;
b) for the period of operation and storage - 1500 V.
Typical design
Cable structure
1. Conducting vein - copper multiwire, 5th class of flexibility, according to DSTU EN 60228;
2. Insulation - special polyvinyl chloride plastic compound;
(Number of cores: 1-5, as agreed with the customer - more than 5);
3. Belt insulation (optional) - polyamide or polyethylene terephthalate film;
4. Sheath - special polyvinyl chloride plastic compound (the default color is black, another sheath color as agreed with the customer).
Execution options
KGNVng with a shell made of low-flammability PVC compound;
KGNVng-LS with a low-flammability PVC compound sheath with reduced smoke and gas emission.
